With twelve+ years of professional experience Angela Callisto specializes in custom newborn, maternity, baby milestone, high school senior & family photography in the buffalo and wny area. In her dedicated studio, located in Clarence NY, Angela has photographed hundreds of newborns & countess milestone sessions. Also, sunset golden hour family sessions on location through the spring, summer and fall months.

Angela focuses on both posed and natural set ups for her newborn work – a style that has evolved over the years and will continue to. Angela knows that each newborn, baby and family is unique and she strives to capture more moments than poses. The connection between families of all ages and the sweet details of each stage.

It is Angela’s wish that you not just come to her for photographs, but for memories frozen in time, and friendships. She very much loves to watch your families grow – to watch your children grow – and to be able to continue to capture all of your moments.

the MOM. the WIFE. the NANA.

As the mother of two children, a boy and a girl, spanning in age 10.5 years apart, Angela is no novice at the crazy mom filled days of babies, toddlerhood, teenagers and parenting an adult (the one she says is the absolute hardest stage of parenting).

When her daughter was little and her son just a freshmen in high school, she was the owner and operator of a full service salon, working long hours and often felt as though she was, "missing it all". She took a leap of faith after building her photography business for a little over a year and decided to sell the salon and dive into photography full time. "Full time" looked a whole lot different with photography. For many years she ONLY photographed in the studio, setting her hours to be able to drop her kids at school, not miss sporting events ever again, doing all of her editing long after they went to bed. It wasn't unusual to see her sharing photos on social media in the wee hours. What she lacked in sleep, she made up for in time with her kiddos. Then entered direct sales and she was able to not only spend even more time at home, but work from literally, anywhere, while supporting her family.

over 20 years of doing life with this man by my side. Raising kids, running businesses, lotsadogs (not pictured but we have THREE! yes 3, doodles) and trying to survive in this crazy world.

And, the Nana, yes, she is a grandmother to an absolutely gorgeous and perfect little boy.

She attributes, not looking like she could be a grandmother, to good skin care aaaaaand.... some botox ;)

In March of 2025 Angela was nominated by a fellow photographer to be interviewed for Canvas Rebel magazine.

"Canvas Rebel's mission is to create a space for artists, creatives and entrepreneurs to be able to learn from their peers through the magic and power of storytelling. Our love of the storytelling format comes from our founding of VoyageLA almost a decade ago, where we ask folks to share the story of their lives and how they got to where they are today. We’ve been fortunate to expand across dozens of cities nationwide. Through our conversations with thousands of small business owners, artists and creatives we noticed that there was a need for even more storytelling – stories about our business or career that we might share at dinner or over coffee, but that wouldn’t necessarily make it into our memoir at the end of our lives; stories that illustrate the nitty-gritty details of what it takes to be successful day to day, how to build and grow a client base, recruit, train and manage a team or generate a living from your art."
