What is included with my session?

You will receive your fully booked session time, a link to your finalized gallery complete with a link to digitally download of all of the edited, high resolution, print ready images, as well as a release/informational form with her high recommendations on were to have your beautiful images printed. All details about session times allotted, set ups, minimum photos guaranteed and more can be found on the photography investment pages

Do you offer print packages?

No. Angela gives you the digital files to print at the print house of your choosing. However, she makes very STRONG recommendations on where and how to print your images for the best quality and does not guarantee your prints if printed somewhere other than her recommended places. These recommendations and links will be provided with your download.

How many images will I get from my sitting?

Although Angela does not guarantee a certain number of images, she does set a standard for her sessions and that standard is outlined in each sessions description – please revert to the investment page for the details of your chosen session. With these image standards she will also provide black and white conversions whenever aesthetically possible for the image, resulting in double the amount of final images. Some shoots she is able to produce more final images – but please remember that she only puts out the very best from your session.

How will I get to see all of my images?

If allowed, she will post a few sneak peeks of your images on her facebook and instagram accounts when she is working on your session! You are always free to use these images as your profile or cover photo but please remember to never alter the image or watermark as angela callisto photography retains the copyright. Once all of your images are done she will load them all via an online sharing site. With that link you will be able to view and download your entire gallery.

Settings, Props and More

Angela try many different settings, props and poses but does not guarantee they will all be in your final gallery. Please understand this as you will see her do many changes for the settings as you may not see those images in your final gallery. Angela will only deliver the very best quality images and if she does not feel they reach the level of success she strives for, she will not put them in your final gallery. If there is something specific you desire please take a moment to let her know in advance.

Copyright

Although angela callisto photography releases the right for you to print your photos she retains the copyright for all the images.

Privacy

Although angela callisto photography retains the copyright to all images, she understands and respect your right to the privacy of the photographs of your children and will always agree to not share your images on her social media channels if requested.

Who can come to the session?

Only those being photographed are invited to the session. We understand new moms sometimes need a little help – please let us know ahead of time if you will be bringing a relative to the session with you who will not be in the images. Please review the preparation packets for times for arrival of siblings for sessions as well. At her sessions she likes baby (age appropriate) to stay focused on me. Having additional spectators is not only distracting to them – but to her as the photographer as well. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

What happens when the children don’t co-operate for the shoot?

We know working with little ones can be tough and takes a lot of patience – which thankfully Angela has. However, from time to time she could be faced with a situations where she finds it is just not working and if she were to continue to try it will only frustrate the child (children) more. So it is better to just call it a day. If this were to occur, please respect my time and understand the full session fee will still be due and payable.

What if I have to cancel the day of?

Things happen – kids get sick – kids don’t nap or were up all night – If this is to happen – please don’t “try” to make the shoot – it will just wind up with Angela having to call it a day and you will wind up with not so lovely pictures (and Angela hates that more than anything). Your retainer fee is non refundable for the day of the scheduled shoot and unfortunately, cannot be applied to a make up day or future session. Another session will need to be booked.

Travel

angela callisto photography loves to do outdoor, on location, shoots. However, she does have travel limits. If you would like to choose your location, please discuss the location with me prior to booking as travel fees may apply.

Retainers & Final Payment

Retainer Fees are non refundable and due upon booking your session to hold your spot. If your retainer fee is not received within the time frame specified on your invoice, your invoice will be cancelled and your spot will be opened back up for booking. Retainer fees cannot be applied to future sessions should you need to cancel. Please also see the section below about illnesses.

Final Payment is due at the time of your session.

Scheduling

All sessions are scheduled (unless specialty sessions noted in the listing) Monday through Friday during the mid morning hours. angela callisto photography will select your session date for all newborn sessions based around when your baby was born, gender and any medical concerns.

Please note: there is very little leeway in changes due to other due dates and babies born on or around the same time as yours. Please also note, Angela does not shoot on Saturdays or Sundays. Thank you.

Angela is a natural light photographer therefor, evening when light is low and after sunset sessions are not available.

When you or your baby are ill

(typically this is in reference to 6 – 12 month+ milestone sessions) Please do NOT bring a child who is ill to the studio. Number 1 – you won’t have very nice photos if the babe is not feeling well. Number 2 – tiny humans are in and out of the studio on a daily basis with brand new, still developing immune systems. Angela does not – nor does she believe you would – want to bring any unnecessary germs to them. Number 3 – Angela has a family of her own she likes to keep healthy. Angela reserves the right to refuse a session if she believes your child is ill with no refund of the deposit or rescheduling option. Contact us as soon as possible if you believe your child is ill. We deal with this on a case by case basis depending on her schedule. Although rescheduling is not always an option – bringing a sick child is never an option.

What happens if I receive my gallery and want something re-edited or tweaked?

Angela only delivers final, fully edited, high resolution images. Re-edits are typically never asked for but she understands sometimes specific tweaks could be desired for the photos. If you receive your gallery and wish to have something tweaked in the edit - pease know there is a $25 per image fee.

Do you ever give unedited or RAW files.

Raw images are never sold or gifted.
