I have said it a million times, the beach is fickle.
She decides when to really show up and show out. And I have no control over it at all.
Typically, I know it is going to be an incredible sunset the moment I start the long walk to the sand. If it's windy, hair might be an issue, but I know the sunset is not going to disappoint.
Sometimes, it’s just downright flat. Flat wind. Flat skies. Flat everything.
Me personally - I like a little drama (and I am ok with posing hair if its windy)
The past few times out there - she has surprised me.
Barely any wind, but sunsets to swoon over and a sandbar that allows us to go out into the water and stay out in the water.
When the sandbar is there - it's not often - but when it's there, it's my favorite.
I always start out in the grassy and treed area when the sun is high.....
and then we move closer and closer to the water....
Until we are finally IN the water....
what IS the one thing I can count on as a constant at the beach?
The last shot of the night is always my favorite....
