Because I like to keep things simple, I don't use a ton of props, I focus solely on capturing moments that can tell a story.
I want the families to look at the photos and see memories.
Not everyone looking at the camera all the time. Sure, I take those, but mainly I want to capture the moments.
Editing is a HUGE piece of this for me. My style. Adding some drama.
No matter what anyone else has to say about photography trends, who's doing what now... I stay true to myself and my own style of story telling in my images. I have only made a few tweaks here and there over the years in my editing and only because I WANTED to - not because of a trend.
Here are a few before and afters to showcase how I take an image and what I bring it to for the final.
From focus to tones to lighting - even the most simple shot can be transformed through editing.
I offer my workflow for both studio and sunset <HERE>.
